Certified Tutor

I am a junior at Liberty University's Honors College studying Information Technology: Data Networking and Security. Helping others learn and succeed has always brought me joy, and tutoring allows me to share that passion by supporting students in their academic journeys. I've regularly assisted classmates with coursework and also tutored during high school, and I'm excited to return to this role and help students learn, grow, and thrive.
While I tutor in a variety of subjects, math is one of my favorites. It is full of concepts that build upon each other, which allows it to be taken step by step. Additionally, I love watching students as what they are learning clicksit is a truly exciting moment! I also enjoy tutoring in preparation for standardized tests because I know that the hard work students put in can be extremely impactful on their future opportunities.
My approach to tutoring is rooted in empathy and adaptability. Every student is different, and I believe in adjusting my teaching style to meet their individual needs. Once a student has shown some success at what we are working on, I like to have them explain it back to me. This shows their level of understanding and that the success can be repeated.
I've experienced firsthand how powerful it is when a teacher genuinely cares about a student's success. My goal as a tutor is to offer that same support and encouragement, helping each student reach their full potential.
