Ria: Melrose Park tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a graduate of Quinnipiac University, where I earned both my Bachelor's degree in Accounting and my Master of Business Administration (MBA). My academic and professional background has given me a strong foundation in business, finance, and quantitative reasoning.
Since completing my studies, I've had the opportunity to support students across a wide range of subjectsfrom early education to college-level math, business, statistics, and accounting. I've worked with students preparing for standardized tests, improving academic writing, and tackling challenging coursework.During my undergrad education, I spent my spring semester of my senior year volunteering at a tax clinic where I filed tax returns for low income households. Through this volunteer service I learned the importance of philanthropy and saw how impactful these services can be.
I'm passionate about education and firmly believe that strong academic support can boost confidence and open doors. My goal is to help every student I work with feel capable, motivated, and prepared. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family (especially my nephew), exploring new topics in business and technology (especially AI and how I can integrate that into everyday tasks), and keeping my skills sharp through tutoring and continued learning.

In my free time, I enjoy a mix of relaxing and active hobbies that keep me balanced and inspired. I love reading biographies, especially those that offer insight into the lives and careers of influential figures. I'm also a big fan of movies and appreciate everything from thought-provoking dramas to light-hearted comedies. Staying active is important to me, so I regularly go to the gym and enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s for a walk, hike, or just some fresh air. At home, I find joy in cooking and baking—trying new recipes is both fun and rewarding.
