I am studying at the University of Florida, seeking a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Sociology. My experience with tutoring began in high school, where I tutored calculus and discovered how much I enjoy breaking down complex problems into simple, approachable steps. More recently, I've served as a teaching assistant for a college-level microbiology lab, where I worked closely with students on experimental techniques and critical thinking skills in the life sciences. Although I enjoy tutoring science and math, I'm especially passionate about teaching Spanish. As someone from Colombia, I find it incredibly meaningful to help others connect with the language and culture I grew up with. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano, hanging out with friends, and drawing. These creative outlets keep me balanced and help me bring patience and enthusiasm to every tutoring session.

Outside of academics, I enjoy exploring a variety of creative and relaxing hobbies. I have been playing the piano for 7 years now, and I always love to learn new pieces. Additionally, I like to sketch whenever I have free time, focusing primarily on drawing faces and landscapes. I will also soon be getting my scuba diving license to explore underwater life.
