Thariq: Burnsville tutor
Certified Tutor
Helping others feel confident with tools like Excel, PowerPoint, writing, and public speaking is what drives my work as a tutor. I'm passionate about showing students that these skills don't have to be intimidating they can be empowering, creative, and even enjoyable when taught the right way.
I have over six years of experience working in both corporate and freelance settings, where I used Excel and Google Sheets daily for budgeting, reporting, data analysis, and business operations. I've supported students and professionals in developing stronger writing skills, presenting with confidence, organizing tasks using Microsoft Office, and building productivity systems that stick.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Management and hold certifications in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. I tutor a wide range of subjects, including Business, Business Writing, English, English Grammar and Syntax, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Productivity, Public Speaking, and Technology and Coding.
My tutoring style is calm, supportive, and hands-on. I use step-by-step instruction, real-world examples, and a student-paced approach to help learners build skills and confidence. I especially enjoy teaching Excel, PowerPoint, Business Writing, and Public Speaking they open doors for students in school, work, and everyday communication.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy creating digital templates, exploring new tech tools, cooking recipes from different cultures, and learning about cars and automotive technology. These hobbies keep me curious and creative qualities I bring into every session to inspire students to keep learning and growing.

Undergraduate Degree: Plaza College - Bachelor in Business Administration, Business Administration and Management
When I’m not tutoring, I like building cool templates in Excel to make budgeting and organizing easier — yes, I’m a spreadsheet nerd! I also love trying new recipes from around the world (especially spicy ones) and checking out local car shows because I’m a big car fan. In my downtime, you’ll usually find me watching tech videos, designing slides in Canva, or just learning something new. I always tell my students: learning should be fun — and I try to live that every day!
