I am a graduate of Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. Since graduation, I worked as an ophthalmic technician at a retina clinic for a year. Now, I am currently a medical student finishing up my first year at the University of Missouri. I have had various tutoring experiences for the past 5 years, working with students in underprivileged schools and students coming from immigrant families. Specifically, I enjoy helping students understand foundational math and science concepts through interactive practice. Additionally, I have written numerous college essays, personal statements and school specific essays as both a college applicant and medical school applicant. I am passionate about helping students guide their writing while still maintaining their unique voice and experiences. I value making tutoring sessions enjoyable where students leave more satisfied and confident with their understanding.
