I love teaching students and seeing their faces light up when a concept clicks and they have an "A-Ha" moment.
As a teacher with over 20 years experience, I enjoy helping to foster interest, understanding, and love of science with my students.
I am a graduate of Youngstown State University. I hold a BS in Secondary Education--Comprehensive Science, and an MS in Secondary Education--Curriculum and Instruction.
I am available to tutor the subjects of chemistry, physics, and integrated physical science.
My favorite subject to tutor is chemistry because it is a subject that continuously builds upon itself and offers a wide array of future study and career opportunities.
When teaching or tutoring, I like to keep things keep things as simple as possible, and then build upon that foundation to go into greater detail, as needed.
I truly believe that a person's education is one thing that can never be taken from them and that we are lifelong learners.
