With a background as both a middle school English and math teacher and a K-12 technology director, I bring a unique blend of educational experience and tech-savvy problem-solving to every tutoring session. I'm deeply passionate about helping students build confidence through clarity there's nothing better than watching a concept click into place and seeing a student light up with understanding.
I specialize in academic tutoring for middle and high school students, with particular strengths in English, writing, and math fundamentals. I'm also experienced in test prep and computer science instruction. Among all the subjects I tutor, I especially enjoy working on writing and language arts. Helping students find their voice, organize their thoughts, and communicate effectively is deeply rewarding and a skill that benefits them across every area of life.
My tutoring style is adaptive, supportive, and strategic. I work to meet each student where they are, breaking down big ideas into approachable steps while building up their independence and problem-solving skills. I believe in creating a space where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.
Outside of tutoring, I'm a systems thinker and a lifelong learner. I enjoy optimizing workflows, creating helpful tools, and diving into all things productivity and tech. I also spend a lot of time with my cat Ruby who sometimes like to make guest appearances during sessions!

I’m someone with a lot of hobbies and creative outlets—there’s always a new project in the works. I enjoy 3D printing, especially when I get to design something from scratch that solves a small problem or just makes life a bit more fun. I also love to crochet, whether I’m working on a cozy blanket or a quirky gift for a friend. Cooking and baking are big parts of my routine, too—sometimes I’m testing out new recipes, other times I’m just perfecting a weeknight staple. I also enjoy spending time at the gym, listening to podcasts, and hanging out with my cat (who definitely has strong opinions about how I spend my time). My interests tend to evolve as I pick up new skills or dive into new ideas, and I genuinely enjoy learning for the sake of it.
