I am passionate about helping students because learning should be an empowering and creative process. There is something truly special about watching a student grow in confidence and curiosity; I love being part of that journey. Whether mastering a new language or learning how to use a computer program, I aim to make learning accessible and inspiring.
I recently graduated with aBachelor of Arts in Architecture and Sustainability, a field that has given me a strong foundation in creative problem-solving and technical skills. My education allowed me to explore a range of disciplines, from design and environmental science to language and digital tools, which has deepened my appreciation for diverse learning styles and subjects.
Throughout my academic career, I've worked with students in various informal settings, helping peers with essays, teaching classmates to use design software, and tutoring in French and Spanish. I enjoy building genuine connections with students and tailoring each session to their needs and interests.
I am most excited to tutorFrench, Spanish, English, and computer software programs. These subjects blend communication, creativity, and structure to challenge and engage students. Language learning, in particular, is a personal passion of mine. I love helping students discover the joy of expressing themselves in another language. Likewise, I enjoy teaching computer programs because they can unlock students' ability to create and innovate in today's digital world.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in empathy, encouragement, and adaptability. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking risks. My tutoring style is collaborative, patient, and engaging. I like to break down complex concepts into manageable steps and use creative techniques that resonate with each learner.
Outside academics, I am drawn toall creative outlets, including art, photography, design, writing, and music. Creativity plays a significant role in how I approach teaching. I often incorporate visual or hands-on methods into my sessions to keep learning fun and meaningful.
I'm excited to support students in their growth and help them reach their full academic and creative potential.
