Certified Tutor

I am a Physics undergraduate student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Since high school, I have been extremely passionate about STEM fields, specifically physics and math. As a result of my curiosity and interest in STEM, I was able to tutor Algebra 2 topics to prepare students for their courses in the summer and help them through exams during their time in the course. Additionally, I tutored SAT math in order to assist juniors that were struggling with improving their scores. Right now, I am in the process of preparing for a calculus mentoring position at RPI. I believe that education provides students with the opportunity to not only learn how to solve problems, but also to think critically. Consequently, my personal approach to teaching involves delving into the deep foundational ideas of basic topics. By building a strong base, students will be able to solve more difficult problems critically and effectively even if they run into a problem that they have not encountered before. I hope to instill curiosity and a basic intuition about physical sciences in all of my students, and I am excited to work with anyone that wants to learn.
