Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Texas Tech University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. After graduation I went on to be accepted to Texas A&M-Commerce where I studied Special Education with an emphasis in Autism and Behavior Disorders. It was then that I obtained my teaching certificate. Upon competition of my test I started working in a public school. During my time as a public school teacher I was tutoring 3-5th grade students to prepare them for the STAAR Test. While I have tutored all subjects in the past I am passionate about English/Language Arts and writing. My favorite thing to teach is reading and writing. I am passionate about education for all students and believe that now more than ever it is crucial to have educators who are passionate about their students and the growth of the students. In my free time I enjoy reading (mostly biographies and anything relating to the Kennedy family), spending time on the farm with my kids, the beach and swimming.
