Certified Tutor

I am a rising Senior at Stony Brook University in New York, my majors are Computer Science (B.S) & Applied Mathematics (B.S). I am currently writing 2 research papers with staff of the Department of Computer Science. One of the most enjoyable tasks I have undertaken in college was becoming a teaching assistant in the Fall of 2024. In this role, I led a weekly recitation of 30 students while also making time to tutor students individually for 6 hours a week on concepts relating to the C and Assembly languages. This experience has motivated me to join Varsity Tutors as a Tutor, as when I was in highschool I used Varsity tutors for help on Physics, which was a positive experience. Overall my strengths as a tutor draw from my large educational background in Mathematics, analytical problem solving learned in research, and ability to break large complex problems into smaller ones; learned as a teaching assistant.

I have also been passionate about soccer, I still play it and recently picked up referring. I love to explore the outdoors too, I want to hike a new trail every weekend over the summer, which is an extension of my love to travel!
