I have many years of experience editing creative writing and academic work. I have worked with several newer writers and non-native speakers of English, so my comments are constructive and encouraging, as well as thorough. I used to be very discouraged as a beginning writer and thought I would never be as good of a writer as others. It was in large part because of the support of others that I continued to try and improve greatly. I want to encourage others to continue to persevere as well and I think it's very important to be able to clearly and easily express your ideas through writing.
I have intermediate knowledge in reading/writing/speaking Korean, Spanish, and Mandarin. I explain the grammar points to beginning students well and also teach methods of association to understand and memorize vocabulary and writing characters. I received As and A-s in college-level Intermediate Spanish, Korean, and Mandarin. I received competitive State Department scholarships for intensive language studythe NSLIY scholarship for Korean and the CLS scholarship for Mandarin. I enjoy learning foreign languages and think intercultural interaction is beautiful. I want to motivate others to learn foreign languages as well.
I received a Bachelor's degree from the College of William and Mary and will begin my JD at George Washington Law School in the upcoming fall.

Some of my favorite movies, books, and TV shows are Avatar (the James Cameron movies), Avatar the Last Airbender, the Lunar Chronicles, the Hunger Games, and much more! I played the flute and piano for eight years and have been trying to play old pieces and cover songs again. I enjoy going to the gym, particularly for BodyPump classes.
