Hi! My name is Sofia Medici Rivas and I am in my 3rd year of college where I am majoring in English Writing and Rhetoric. I have been tutoring writing since my freshman year of college and have always been ahead in my English language courses in high school. I am passionate about language and writing and am pursuing a career in law. I am used to working with a variety of age groups in terms as I was a swim instructor for 5 years and have taught ages ranging from 18 months-45 years old, as well as that I have tutored writing for both undergraduate and graduate students at the university level. I have ADHD and work well with students who are also neurodivergent and/or have learning disabilities as I have experience teaching a wide variety of students. I am well versed in academic research, all citation formats, rhetorical analysis, literature and composition, personal statement or college essays, and anything that has to do with written communication.
