Julie: Clark County tutor
Certified Tutor
I'm excited to help you or your child succeed academically. With over 35 years of experience as an educator, I've had the privilege of teaching students at every grade level, from eager 4-year-olds to motivated graduate students. My diverse teaching background allows me to tailor my tutoring approach to meet the unique needs of each individual student, whether they are just starting to learn or are working on more advanced concepts.
I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and have taken numerous additional courses and workshops to continually improve my teaching skills. I believe in lifelong learning, and my love for education is fueled by my desire to meet new people and share knowledge. This is why tutoring is such a fulfilling passion for meit allows me to combine my love of learning with my desire to help others succeed.
I specialize in reading, writing, ESL (English as a Second Language), communication arts, history, and sociology. My passion for these subjects is matched only by my commitment to making each tutoring session productive, professional, and, most importantly, friendly. I believe that a positive and supportive learning environment is key to success, and I work hard to ensure that every session is engaging, efficient, and helps students achieve their academic goals.
If you're looking for a dedicated, experienced tutor who genuinely cares about your success, I'm here to help. Let's work together to build confidence, master new skills, and make learning a fulfilling experience. I look forward to being part of your educational journey!

When I'm not teaching or learning about teaching, you’ll find me walking my golden retriever, reading novels, knitting, or playing with my grandchildren. These moments help me recharge, so I can continue to bring energy and enthusiasm to my tutoring sessions.
