As a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in History from James Madison University, I've developed a deep appreciation for the power of education and the impact strong mentorship can have on student success. My academic background has equipped me with strong research, analytical, and communication skills that I now apply in my work as a tutor and educator.

Throughout my years as a K12 substitute teacher, I've had the opportunity to work with students of all ages and backgrounds. These experiences have sharpened my ability to adapt to diverse learning environments, think on my feet, and connect with students in meaningful ways. I pride myself on my ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language and to foster an engaging and supportive learning atmosphere.

My teaching style emphasizes patience, encouragement, and individualized support. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed when given the right tools and guidance. Whether helping students build confidence in reading comprehension, develop critical thinking skills, or strengthen their writing and study habits, I aim to create a positive learning experience that supports both academic growth and personal development.

In addition to my classroom experience, I've managed a team in a high-responsibility leadership role, further enhancing my communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. I bring this same level of dedication and attention to detail to my work as a tutor, always striving to meet the unique needs of each student and help them reach their full potential.
