With a Bachelor of Arts in English and a strong College of Honors background in History, as well as multiple published works of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, I am ready and excited to help students attain high levels of academic, personal, and artful achievement. My background in elementary ed, adult ed, and special ed, as well as in-person experience as a private tutor, is a great plus! No matter my students' grade levels or current academic achievements, I am here to take them above and beyond.

- Reading - Writing - History - Exploring - Hiking and Kayaking - Cars (especially old ones!) - Airplanes (especially REALLY old ones!) My favorite places in the world are the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Appalachian Trail, East Tennessee, County Kerry in Ireland, Edinburgh in Scotland, and my own library at home. These are the places where I find I learn the most as a scholar, grow the most as a person, and experience the most as a lover of beautiful things!
