Hi,
I am a graduate of Cleveland State University, Rio Salado College, and Western Governors University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, went on to complete my post-baccalaureate in Elementary Education grades K-8th. I have an Elementary Education background and ESOL teaching certification, as well as my National Board Certification in Reading-Language Arts Early-Middle Childhood. I recently graduated from WGU with a Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction degree. I have been teaching full time in public schools in Elementary, Middle, and High School for the past 12 years and tutoring for the past 12 years. I am passionate about supporting students with their literacy and math skills. I have a strong literacy background and I am Orton-Gillingham trained since 2019. I support students with their math skills, phonics, reading foundational skills, and reading comprehension to prepare students for their state standardized tests and year long testing. I have increased students reading levels from Kindergarten-12th grades and have prepared students to be college and career ready.
