Education is fundamental to society, one of the building blocks of any good civilization. Those who have knowledge must help those who don't. This is why I love teaching and education.
I have worked with homeschooled systems before, tutoring in a variety of subjects at a 5th to 8th-grade level, including mathematics, science, Spanish/English, history, and social sciences. Additionally, I have worked with undergraduate students in language development, specifically within conversational Spanish.
I am currently pursuing a degree in Political Science, Philosophy, and Economics at Anderson University in Indiana, with minors in Social Work and Finance.
I specialize in tutoring Spanish at various levels, as I am a native speaker. Growing up in Mexico allowed me to learn Spanish and English simultaneously, making me a fully fluent bilingual individual.
I believe teaching is a gift, passed from those who are knowledgeable to those eager to learn. Teaching must be engagingnot just recitation but interactive and interesting. At its core, teaching is good storytelling. Everything we learn is part of a story, whether our own or that of the greater world. This is why I love History. A good teacher, therefore, is also a good storyteller.
