My most recent experience includes teaching Latin in a private school. I have also tutored in a classical homeschooling organization where I led groups of students and their parents in in-depth English Grammar exercises including sentence classification and diagramming. My philosophy of education is perennialism, which closely aligns with Classical Education. I have an Associates in Elementary Education and some further college beyond that, but I took an extended break to be home with my 6 children. I homeschooled them for almost ten years and a great deal of my training during that time came from Classical homeschooling seminars and online trainings. I am now attending Concordia University online to finish my Bachelors in Elementary Education by this fall. I enjoy spending time with my family doing board games, jigsaw puzzles. and walking with my husband. I have a boxer that is practically glued to my hip when I am home.
