Certified Tutor

I am a two-time college graduate. I first received my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in May 2017. I later received a Master of Arts in Teaching in December 2023. I have been teaching since 2017. I have previously taught 6th and 8th grade math. I am currently a 9th-grade Algebra I teacher. While I can teach different levels of math, I am very passionate about teaching Algebra I. I chose this subject because I know that many students struggle with math and this class is needed in many public schools for graduation. In my experience helping struggling students with their subject area courses, I have learned that all students have a unique learning style. It is great to see my students being able to retain the knowledge and skills that have been laid out for them. I firmly believe that having a good education will set anyone up for success in their future endeavors. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my daughter and learn new skills to improve my personal quality of life.
