Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the History Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where I wrote my dissertation on a Latinx community in Albuquerque, New Mexico focusing on photography, popular culture, and identity. I have worked with a range of students since I was an undergraduate at the University of New Mexico. During those years, I was an Americorps member charged with leading, assisting, and developing culturally-relevant lessons for an after school program for bilingual children. Since that experience, I have been committed to providing a safe, engaging space for all learners to feel more connected to history and the world around them.
