I am an empathetic teacher who is sensitive to my students' grasping the "why" of how math and science work. I have a single idea in mind when teaching a broad subject like Economics or Math, and I return to that idea as a theme of what is being taught. I start with assessing the student's background and build on that going forward. I teach with problem-solving in mind and often ask the student to repeat back to me what was just taught to reinforce understanding in my students. You can expect a lot of intuition-style teaching of mathematics and economics, so you have a grasp of why the charts and equations exist from a common-sense perspective first. I am supportive and encouraging, and I lead you through the material so it feels completely integrated, not a jumble of symbols and figures. I look forward to teaching you, and I know you will succeed in your studies, and we will eventually say Math and Economics are fun! Good luck, and I hope to hear from you!
