Teaching has always been more than a job for me, it's a calling. I am passionate about helping students because I believe in their potential to grow, learn, and succeed when given the right guidance and encouragement. Watching students gain confidence in themselves and their abilities, especially when they overcome challenges, is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of students, from elementary school children to college students, in both classroom and one-on-one settings. My experience spans subjects like biology , and general sciences, and I have also worked as a college adviser, helping students navigate their academic and career paths. Each experience has reinforced my belief that students learn best when they feel supported and engaged.
I hold a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in higher education, which has equipped me with both the content knowledge and the pedagogical strategies needed to help students succeed. Whether tutoring or teaching, biology remains my favorite subject because of the way it connects students to the world around them. Helping students understand how life works at the cellular and ecological levels gives them insight into both science and their own lives, which is incredibly rewarding.
My teaching philosophy centers around the idea that every student learns differently. I believe in adapting my tutoring style to meet the individual needs of each student, creating a personalized approach that fosters both understanding and confidence. My sessions are interactive and student-led, where I act as a guide rather than a lecturer. I encourage curiosity and problem-solving, making sure that students are actively involved in their own learning process.
Outside of the academic world, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my two daughters. We love exploring new activities together, whether it's being in nature or enjoying family moments at home. These experiences not only bring balance to my life but also inspire the way I engage with students, connecting academic lessons to real-life experiences.

Outside of my professional life, I have a range of hobbies and interests that enrich my personal and family life. I enjoy spending quality time with my family, especially my two daughters, and we often explore new activities together, whether it’s visiting local parks, engaging in arts and crafts, or simply enjoying family moments at home. In addition to family outings, I have a passion for reading. I enjoy books on education and science, which not only expand my knowledge but also inspire new ideas for my teaching practice. I find that my diverse interests help me connect with my students and bring real-world applications to the subjects I teach.
