Brandi: Medford tutor
Certified Tutor
I am driven by a profound passion for helping students grow both academically and personally. My experience includes working one-on-one and in classroom settings, guiding learners through oratory skills, reading comprehension, and foundational math concepts. I earned a bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Mass Media, and Telecommunications from Temple University, as well as a conservatory certificate from the New York Film Academy, where I maintained a 4.0 GPA. Currently, I am pursuing a teaching certificate, a Master's in Special Education, and a PhD in Child Psychology.
In addition to my academic background, I am a writer of plays, a producer of theatrical productions and showcases, and an award-winning actress. These creative pursuits sharpen my ability to engage students by encouraging them to think critically, communicate clearly, and explore new perspectives. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive environment where learners feel confident asking questions and learn to view challenges as opportunities to grow. Lessons are tailored to individual needs, combining structured guidance with hands-on activities so that students can master each skill at a comfortable pace. Outside of academia, I bring my love for storytelling and performance into my sessions to keep lessons lively and memorable.
By blending an empathetic teaching style with real-world applications, I strive to inspire curiosity, boost self-confidence, and equip each student with the tools they need to succeed.
