Dr. Sherri has over 10 years of teaching experience that allows her to be confident in her ability to create a safe, friendly, and inviting classroom that allows for student growth and success. She is passionate about education and works diligently to help students have their "ah-ha" moments and benefit from their learning opportunities. With over 10 years of accounting and finance experience, she feels confident in her understanding of the concepts being taught and her ability to bring clarity to students on these concepts.

As a teacher, she finds it important to get to know her students as it allows her to understand their personal challenges and motivations. With this information, she is better able to tailor her teaching to what will work best for them and their situation. She believes in teaching by example, allowing students to learn from her mistakes and being as approachable as possible to encourage student/teacher interaction. She frequently uses the "I do, we do, You do" approach in her sessions to allow students to make mistakes in class so she can help them correct their errors immediately.
