As a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, I have always been passionate about education, especially in the areas of biology, physiology, and kinesiology. My experience as a supplemental instructor for an introductory biology course at Georgia State University allowed me to work closely with students, helping them navigate challenging material through interactive review games and activities. I am passionate about creating learning experiences that not only enhance retention but also make the material engaging and relatable.

I believe that understanding the human body and the world around us is essential to fostering empathy for ourselves and others. This drives my passion for tutoring life sciencesI want students to gain both knowledge and a sense of wonder about how our bodies and the natural world function. My favorite subjects to tutor are biology and physiology, as they provide the foundation for understanding health, movement, and life processes.

In my tutoring sessions, I strive to make learning accessible by breaking down complex topics into manageable concepts, tailoring my approach to each student's learning style. I focus on fostering an encouraging, patient, and interactive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in their learning journey.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy watercolor painting, crocheting, gardening, and spending time with my four cats. These hobbies allow me to unwind and stay creative, which I believe is a crucial component to success.
