Passion for education and helping people is at the heart of my tutoring practice. I am deeply committed to helping students unlock their potential and gain confidence in their academic abilities. This dedication stems from my belief that every student has unique strengths and that tailored support can make a profound difference in their learning journey.

My experience working with students spans several years and includes roles as a classroom teacher, Interventionist, Instructional Coach, private tutor, and mentor in various educational settings. Through these roles, I have developed a keen understanding of diverse learning styles and strategies to address individual needs effectively. I have had the pleasure of guiding students from elementary school through high school, helping them achieve their academic goals and fostering a love for learning.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Accounting at Oklahoma Christian University, where I developed a strong foundation in business, accounting and math. I received my Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Texas Woman's University as well as my Masters Degree in Counseling from Lamar University. My academic background equips me with the knowledge and skills necessary to support students across a range of subjects.

I offer tutoring in subjects including Reading, Math, Science and Social Studies with a particular focus on Math. My favorite subject to tutor is Math, as it allows me to engage deeply with students and explore complex concepts in an approachable manner. The satisfaction of seeing students grasp challenging material and gain enthusiasm for the subject is incredibly rewarding.

My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe in fostering a growth mindset, where students are encouraged to view challenges as opportunities for growth. My tutoring style is personalized and student-centered, focusing on understanding each student's unique needs and adapting my approach to best support their learning. By building a strong rapport with students, I aim to make learning a positive and empowering experience.
