Hello! I am a biology private tutor with 5 years of experience teaching high school, AP, and college-level biology. By specializing in only one subject, I have been able to hone my biology teaching skills and can therefore provide the best possible learning experience to each student.

I am an incoming, accepted MD medical student who has taken the MCAT and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Central Florida with a major in Biomedical Sciences. From being an honors student in high school to receiving a 5 on the AP Biology exam to serving as a teaching assistant for upper level college biology courses such as molecular biology, I have gained valuable knowledge and experience on how to overcome challenges in the classroom that I pass on to my students.

From my experience, I have seen that an interactive, example-based format tailored to each student's concerns is the best way to structure these sessions and make the most of our time. My successful teaching strategy involves focusing on the "why" instead of the "what" while supplementing this with visual aids, mnemonics, and other techniques to maximize understanding and test-day performance.
