Im a graduated from the Instituto de Ciencias y Estudios Superiores de Tamaulipas S.A. with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary School Education. A couple years after, I earned my Educational Innovation Masters degree at the Universidad Pedaggica Nacional (both of them are located in Mxico). In college, I taught elementary school groups as part of practicing as teaching student. Once I graduated, I stared teaching officially and have continued to do so for the past 9 years for the Public School System in Mexico (Secretara de Educacin Pblica).

During these 9 years of teaching, I have been able to gain experience teaching a wide variety of students. I have worked with students from ages 6-12 years old and taught classes in 1st through 6th grade.

Although, I am prepared to teach different elementary school subjects, my principal passion leans towards teaching Spanish language, because Spanish is my first language and I have extensive knowledge about Spanish grammar. I love helping my students learn the best way to communicate assertive and properly in Spanish. Teaching Spanish is my favorite subject.

As a teacher, my principal objective is that each one of my students can feel like an important part of the class. I want to build the confidence in my students, helping them understand that wrong answers are not always bad, but can be viewed as an opportunity to learn. This will allow them to participate actively and contribute their own ideas and enriching their teaching-learning process. The most important thing is helping my students apply their new knowledge in their real life.

In my spare time, I like spending time with my husband and family, doing relaxing and fun activities. Also, I like to learn new things to enrich my capabilities and abilities.
