My name is Aden Garbutt, and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from CUNY City College of NY. With over two years of tutoring experience, primarily at the New York Public Library, I've worked with elementary and middle school students, focusing on subjects like SAT Math, reading, and writing. My teaching philosophy revolves around adaptability and engagement; I strive to create interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. I find joy in transforming complex concepts into approachable ideas, particularly in math, where I aim to build confidence and enthusiasm in my students. I believe that fostering a supportive environment helps students not only grasp academic material but also develop essential communication skills.
