I have been a teacher for 23 years. I am currently a K-4 ESL teacher and have been for the past 12 years. Other grades I have taught are 4th, 5th, and 2nd. My area of expertise is literacy K-6, where I am a national board certified teacher in early and middle school literacy. Teaching reading is my passion. There is nothing more that I love in my profession than seeing a lightbulb go off when something finally clicks with my students and they start to read.
