I am a chemist currently obtaining my PhD in Physical Chemistry at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I obtained two Bachelors of Science at the University of New Haven in Chemistry and Forensic Science, during which time I worked as an undergraduate peer tutor. I am passionate about helping students expand their chemistry knowledge and develop the logical skills which are vital as future members of the scientific community. I am currently tutoring general and organic chemistry.

As a chemist, I particularly enjoy studying spectroscopy and instrumentation. I find it fascinating to learn about the instruments that let us see into the complex world of chemical reactions. Outside of the lab, I enjoy working on many arts and crafts including drawing, sewing, and jewelry making. I also love to ski, and am learning to roller skate with other members of my lab.
