I am a dedicated and passionate teacher with over 15 Years experience working with children and young people from all over the world.

I loved Teaching English as a Foreign Language in London and Tanzania before working with charities to support young people in developing their personal and employment skills in London and South Africa. I have worked with children with additional needs in hospitals and schools and am now a fully qualified teacher of the English Primary curriculum.

I achieved my undergraduate degree in Law and Social Anthropology and used this as my springboard into education and charity work. I studied for my TEFL alongside my degree and volunteering at a children's charity. I gained my full teaching qualifications during the COVID lockdowns and have been working full time in a UK primary school ever since, working mostly with children aged 4-5.

My teaching style is relaxed and fun because I know that for children to effectively learn, they need to establish a trusting relationship with their teacher. I achieve this secure environment through positivity, patience and a good sense of humour as well as establishing clear expectations from the start.

I love to make my lessons hands on and practical, linking our learning to the child's experiences and existing understanding. I love teaching English because I have a love of language and of creative stories but I also LOVE teaching science because of my passion for the natural world and exploration. I am also a fully qualified Forest School Leader so I love bringing the outdoors into my lessons wherever I can.
