I am very happy with our experience so far with Varsity Tutors. They matched my daughter with reading specialist Mary and she is wonderful! My 10 year old daughter feels happy after her sessions and believes her tutor has already helped her.

Ila

Certified Tutor

My ultimate goal as an educator is to give students the environment and space to feel safe and free to be whoever they are with no judgement. I teach to give students the opportunity to learn and grow, to be creative and have fun, and to be the truest form of themselves without fear. In the classroom, I am more of a facilitator than a teacher. I want to foster students' creativity and allow them to search for the answers rather than just telling them what they are or telling them what to think or believe. It is much more powerful when a student is able to discover and think for themselves.
