My name is Sarah, and I am a dedicated teacher with 26 years of experience in special education. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages, ranging from pre-K to young adults. My passion for teaching and my commitment to providing the best education possible has driven me to specialize in various areas, including autism, reading acquisition and remediation, ADHD, and executive functioning disorders.

With a background in fine arts, I bring a creative and innovative approach to my teaching. I believe that fostering a high-level of expectation, coupled with consistent thorough follow-through and grace in the classroom, creates an optimal learning environment for my students. I am dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive educational space where each student can thrive and reach their full potential.

In addition to my expertise in special education, I am also a children's book author. Through my writing, I aim to inspire and engage young minds, making learning a joyful and interactive experience. I am excited to bring my passion for storytelling into the classroom, using literature as a powerful tool to ignite curiosity and foster a love for learning.
