Certified Tutor

I am an undergraduate student at the University of St. Thomas, and I study Cell and Molecular Biology. I have experience as a teaching assistant and peer mentor for introductory college biology courses, and I tutor high school-level biology, microbiology, and college-level biology. With future plans to pursue a career in academia, I am passionate about STEM education and want to inspire the next generation of doctors and scientists as well as help my students learn to appreciate biology and the science behind what we learn. I firmly believe that education should be centered around the needs of the student, and my tutoring sessions reflect this. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (science fiction and philosophy are my favorite genres), weightlifting, and going for long walks.
