I am currently going to school at Brigham Young University-Idaho. There I am pursuing a degree in Physics Education with a minor in Mathematics Education. Physics is my favorite subject because it's basically applied math that explains how things move and why. Science and math are definitely my favorite subjects, but I'm willing to help with most any subject. I believe that everyone has the potential to do great things; they just need encouragement. For that reason, I strive to cheer on my students helping them to reach their goals! I believe education should be more than just reading a textbook, but rather learning to really understand and be able to apply knowledge. Growing up, learning didn't always come easy to me. I've learned to take the extra steps needed to be able to understand, and I plan to do the same with my students.

I love being outdoors. In high school, I played football and ran track. I also enjoy music and play the saxophone. On top of that, I love science. Specifically, I love anything that deals with space! Cheesy as it sounds, I've always been fascinated by learning about the world around me.
