Certified Tutor

I am a tutor because I believe that every student has the capacity to achieve greatness in any subject. They sometimes need help realizing that capacity. I am currently also a writing resource tutor at Xavier University of Louisiana. I have been promoted to instruct small lectures in the resource center, covering topics from analyzing text and grammar to writing personal statements and much more. I am a senior majoring in philosophy on the pre-med track with a minor in chemistry. I am a tutor who encourages students to make mistakes and helps them understand that wrong answers are a part of the learning experience. They are not setbacks but a step forward to getting the correct solution.
