Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Webster University and the University of South Florida. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Physical Geography, and my Masters in Secondary Education in Biology. Since graduation, I have taught Biology, Earth Science, and Environmental sciences as well as helped students one-on-one in various study halls. Most of my life I have worked with horses and that ultimately showed me my true passion for teaching people about the world around us. During my undergraduate degree I worked as a tour guide taking people into the ocean and swimming with horses. I have volunteered for different invasive species removal and bird sanctuaries in Florida and Missouri. With biology being one of the tested subjects for end of course exams, I have helped students' study for EOC's as well as their ACT exams. I am passionate helping students who are struggling with these subjects, and I take pride in their accomplishments. I am a strong advocate for students and helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests. I am a big fan of using games in learning and looking at different perspectives on learning to best help my students.
