Certified Tutor

I have a passion for teaching math as it's a subject I used to hate. I always struggled with it and needed extra help. But now it comes much easier to me and I want to help children who possibly hate the subject, learn that they can do it if they apply themselves.

I am working towards my AA now, which I'm almost done with, and want to get a Bachelors in Human Services. I am currently at FSCJ and want to get my Master's at UNF or UF.

My tutoring style is very student led. I go at their pace and do not mind repeating myself. I am very patient and love it when the students have an "OH!" moment.

I love to tutor math due to it being a puzzle as well and how it builds on top of itself. I want to work with elementary kids especially since I want to help create a strong foundation for kids, so that when they go up to middle and high school, they don't struggle as much with algorithms.
