Certified Tutor
I am a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where I received my Bachelor of Arts. I majored in biology and political science, with a minor in French. Post-graduation, I lived in Lille, France where I taught English to students ages 8-15 years old.
Previously, I've tutored elementary school students in reading, writing and math. I have also run a French after-school program for West African immigrant children, ages 7-13, in West Philadelphia. I'm able to tutor in a variety of subjects, but am most passionate about humanities and French.
I've always loved to learn, and I want to inspire that same curiosity and passion within my students. My tutoring sessions are a collaboration between me and my students in identifying their goals and determining how we can maximize their preferred learning style while still having fun.
Outside of academics, I'm likely reading, spending time outdoors, or planning my next traveling adventure. I also love attending professional hockey and soccer games with my friends and family.

I enjoy reading (both fiction and non-fiction!). I'm also very active outdoors, often running, biking, or hiking on local trails. During the winter months, I'm usually watching hockey and I enjoy attending games for Minnesota sports teams with my friends and family.
