Truly excited to assist and help students along their academic journey.

I am passionate about helping students because I was a student that felt so intimidated when it came to reading and writing papers. I remember the feelings of anxiousness and overwhelm. However, I excelled in mathematics and science courses (hence I became a chemical engineer). So, I would like to take my strengths and help other students not feel the same way and better understand math and science subjects.
I have worked with students for over 23 years - I started volunteer tutoring at the boys and girls club after school for fun, as well as helping classmates through high school and college. I later started a tutoring company for 5 years and become a certified middle and high school teacher. I have also been a college professor and helped over 5000 students. I love teaching and helping students understand concepts but I believe it's important that they feel good during the process.
I went to Texas Tech University and obtained 2 bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Microbiology. Now, I am working toward completing my master's in Mathematics with new ambitions in medical science.
I can help with any math up to Calculus and science I truly love Biology and Chemistry. I can help with SAT and ACT math test prep as well.
My favorite subject to tutor is Chemistry because I love how math translates across the subject and call me a nerd but I think it's cool there is an invisible science that explains how atoms and molecules work.
My teaching philosophy is it is my duty to help students tap into their true potential and leave with a deeper understanding. I am always focused on making sure students understand topics all the way around for a solid foundation that helps them have future success.
I love rugby, nature, and animals plus raising and spending time with my little ones.
