I'm a 2022 Harvard Graduate with a Master of Liberal Arts in Journalism. During my degree program, I also earned graduate certificates in Digital Storytelling and Learning Design and Technology. Since graduation, I have enjoyed freelance projects such as writing for Prince William Living Magazine and building my own news website, silverliningnews.com. I developed a joy for tutoring when I served at City Academy in Salt Lake City, Utah, as a Case Manager Assistant and collaborated with my peers at the Harvard Extension School. I enjoy a collaborative tutoring style because students learn when they receive questions and can explore to find answers. While I tutor many subjects, I am most passionate about Journalism, Digital Media, Creative Writing, and History subjects. I love education and academic settings and want to inspire my students to utilize education to reach their personal best. That can be something as simple as visiting a library. I consider myself a learning "geek" because I love nothing more than visiting libraries and checking out books on my interests. I also enjoy gardening, walking my dog, watching old movies, and figure skating. I can be bribed with black licorice.
