Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Baylor University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a focus on Reading. I am certified in Reading Recovery and trained in Dyslexia Therapy. Since graduation, I have taught elementary school, raised four boys of my own, and tutored many private clients. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Reading and Writing. In my experience helping students improve their reading and writing skills, we always have fun (and make remarkable advancements) using manipulatives and reading and writing about topics we enjoy.

I am a firm proponent of quality education, and I believe it can increase options for opportunities for an improved quality of life. I work hard to impart this appreciation to all of my students while having fun in the process.
