I'm studying French and Russian at UCL, and I am a graduate of the IB Diploma Programme (bilingual), where I focused my studies on French and English literature. I grew up in a French and British household, so I have both languages as a mother tongue. I have tutored English and French to students of all ages (4 to 30 years old) for over a year now - my studies in Russian have made an even stronger tutor, as they have given me first-hand experience in learning a language from scratch. I am also passionate about language, linguistics and translation, and this informs my teaching style: I focus on the communicative method, helping my students improve their confidence in speaking (which I find is one of the most important factors in improving one's language skills), whilst addressing grammar concerns as they arise, depending on the student. I am also very comfortable working with students with learning differences such as dyslexia and ADHD.
