I have many teaching experiences ranging from university students to secondary school students. I have been teaching Biology to foundation year students for many years. I have many teaching methods and styles with good lesson planning and assessment preparations. I have my own tricks to deal with the poor engagement and less participation from the students and how to improve their interest in their studies. I can accommodate changing the lesson delivery styles to improve student learning. I keep updating myself and my methods to cope with the recent technologies. Although my background education was in medicine to help people in pain, I have a growing passion for teaching. I have been teaching Forensic science to undergraduate students in Medical school for 4 years. I started to work as a teaching support officer at Liverpool John Moores University after passing my 3'Is course for the last 3 years. I have joined the International Study Center at Liverpool John Moores University and have been working with them for 3 years. I have been teaching Biology Module that is similar to the GCSE and A-level modules. My usual lesson has a plan and at least two assessments. I prepare the lesson materials such as Powerpoint presentations, videos, and animations that greatly help to increase the engagement and interests of the students. The assessment could vary from flash cards, commentary questions, diagrams etc. The final lesson summary prepared as mind mapping and keywords are very helpful techniques to use and help the student to memorize.
