Jesse: Pawtucket tutor
Certified Tutor
I received my Bachelor's degree from Bluffton University and my Master's degree from Xavier University, both in Special Education. Since graduation, I have been employed as a K-12 mild to moderate intervention specialist working with students with learning disabilities. In the last two years, along with my intervention specialist duties, I have been serving as the Director of Student Success. In this role, I oversee academic support in my school. Outside of school, I have served as an assistant high school baseball coach for the past three years. This school year, I will be an assistant baseball coach for a local community college. With regard to tutoring, I can assist in many different areas. Some subjects I am qualified to tutor are elementary and middle school Math, English, Science, and Writing. I am most passionate about working within special education. Most of my experience has been working in special education with all subjects in grades 6-12. My teaching and coaching philosophies go hand in hand. I believe that all students and athletes can learn and succeed. My responsibility as a teacher and a coach is to provide young people with a safe learning environment where they can grow emotionally, academically, and socially.
