I am a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary, where I obtained both my Masters of Divinity and Masters of Theology with a concentration in biblical studies. My wife and I have fostered teenage boys for the last three years, and since graduating I have been our family's house spouse; I spend a lot of my days supporting them, my wife, and our biological toddler. When I'm not reading biblical studies and theology books, I love helping people of all ages and backgrounds work through big questions about life and faith. I believe the goal of education is to teach us to ask better questions, not simply provide us with answers.

Hobbies

Outside of my hobbies around academia and my family, I really enjoy working out. Our family loves to travel and go on adventures; I've been on four continents, twelve countries, and roughly half of the states in the USA. I also love a good hike or board game night with friends. My most controversial opinion about something benign is that sushi is a legitimate breakfast food.
