I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in Elementary Education and then while teaching, got my Master's Degree in Special Education from East Carolina University. This is my 7th year as an educator and I have taught grades ranging from Kindergarten to 3rd. In college, I worked as a Resident Advisor and volunteered with many organizations including HYPE which focused on providing after school tutoring to young students :). I can tutor any elementary subject but am most comfortable supporting younger students (grades K-3) with reading, history, math, and writing or students who are older but need support with this foundational content. I have a lot of experience and enjoy supporting students with learning disabilities or other special needs.

In my free time, I enjoy watching tv, spending time with my family & friends, and traveling- especially to the beach! I have a huge sea shell collection! I also love reading books and taking naps.
