I have been working in the learning environment/public schools for over 20 plus years. During my years with the public school system, I have worked as a support staff, a teacher assistant, then became a substitute teacher. Along with being a substitute teacher, I have worked as an instructor for an after school program (grades K-3rd), and as an ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) Technician working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders also known as ASD.

*Worked with students in general education grades pre-K through 3rd.

* Earned my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.

* Earned my Masters of Arts in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

* Worked with individuals with unique needs (Exceptional Students Education) ages 2 to 26 years old. Grades Preschool ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders) and ECDD Early Childhood Developmental Delayed classroom ages 2 to 6 years old. Middle School ASD classroom, High School ASD classroom, and a Transition Center for students ages 18 to 26 years old.
Experience with teaching students face to face, virtually (Zoom and Microsoft Teams), and combining both face to face and virtual. Some of the topics/subjects that I have taught to students as a class, small group instructions, and individual instruction sessions are Math, Phonic Skills, Life Skills, Arts and Crafts, Physical Activities, SEL known as Social and Emotional Learning, Youth Development, STEM, and Science.

I implement various methods to teach learners the concept of the lesson, through stories, music, videos, games (such as kahoot), and visuals (PECS - Picture Exchange Communication System). Because each individual learns differently and at their own pace. I look forward seeing you in my learning environment.
